On July 4, 2026, Asha Homoeopathy, Miraj, in association with Ajinkya Foundation, Kupwad, successfully organized a one-day free homeopathy health camp dedicated to children with intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and autism. The initiative brought together medical expertise and community support to serve one of the most deserving yet often under-resourced sections of society — special children and their families.
About the Camp
The health camp was conceived with a clear purpose: to provide accessible, high-quality homeopathic care to special students who require ongoing medical attention, therapy, and family support. Conditions addressed during the camp included seizures (fits), hyperactivity, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, difficulty in social integration, low self-confidence, delayed motor development, inability to walk, motor neuron disease, cerebral palsy, and related developmental concerns.
Held at the Ajinkya Foundation premises on Kupwad–Kavalapur Road, Kupwad, Sangli, the camp ran through the day and welcomed a large number of children and their parents seeking guidance and treatment.

What the Camp Offered
- Detailed health assessments for every special student who attended, conducted by qualified homeopathic practitioners
- Expert medical consultation, offering parents clarity on their child’s condition and the treatment options available
- Free distribution of homeopathic medicines, ensuring that cost was never a barrier to receiving care
- Ongoing free medicine support, with a commitment that patients attending the camp would continue to receive medicines free of cost going forward
- Awareness sessions for parents, helping families better understand their child’s health, development, and the role homeopathy can play alongside other therapies
- Free lunch for all attendees, ensuring children and accompanying parents were well cared for throughout their day at the camp
Leadership and Expertise
The camp was led by Dr. B. S. Bhosle, MD (Homoeopath), PhD, along with his dedicated medical team. Dr. Bhosle’s approach — rooted in the belief that homeopathy addresses illness at its root cause — resonated strongly with parents seeking sustainable, long-term solutions rather than symptomatic relief alone. His team’s commitment, compassion, and clinical expertise ensured that every family left the camp with clarity, reassurance, and a concrete path forward.
A Community Effort
This initiative would not have been possible without the vision and tireless work of the Ajinkya Foundation — its president, trustees, office bearers, teachers, staff, and volunteers. Their meticulous planning, dedicated coordination, and deep-rooted commitment to social service brought the camp to life and ensured its smooth execution.
Together, the two organizations demonstrated what focused collaboration between healthcare providers and community institutions can achieve: a day that brought smiles to the faces of special children and renewed hope to their families.
Why This Matters
Children with intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and autism often face significant barriers to consistent healthcare — whether due to cost, distance, lack of specialized practitioners, or simply a lack of awareness about available options. Camps like this one help bridge that gap, bringing expert care directly to families who need it most, at no cost to them.
Beyond the immediate medical benefit, the camp also served an important awareness-building role, helping parents feel supported, informed, and less alone in navigating their child’s health journey.
Looking Ahead
Asha Homoeopathy and Ajinkya Foundation remain committed to continuing this partnership through future health camps and community outreach programs focused on the health, education, and overall well-being of special children. The success of this camp reinforces a shared belief: sustained, collective effort can create lasting, positive change for the community’s most vulnerable members.
As the organizers reflect on the day’s outcomes, their guiding philosophy remains simple and powerful:
“Service is true devotion, and the smiles of special children are our greatest inspiration.”
