On 3rd Dec. 2005 Institute celebrated the “Worlds Handicapped Day” on this occasion all the students were taken to Jath for a cultural Program arranged celebrated annual gathering program on 15/12/05 at Aku’s Dreamland, Kupwad. Sports Department : On 30/ 11/05 our students participated in the District Level Sports competition for disabled. Our 2 Students won first prize in the competition. Miss. Puja Jadhav won the soft Ball throw & 50 mt. running compitition & Miss. Reshama Mulla won the first prize in spot jump competition & 2nd prize in 100 mt running. These Students were given chance to participate in the state level competition held at Jalana from 26/1/06 to 30/1/06. Miss. Reshama Mulla won second prize for spot jump in the state level competition. This state level competition was arranged by commissioneret( Disable) , Maharashtra state.
We are providing behavior modification of the mentally handicapped through the services of physiotherapy, Physical therapy, Behaviour Treatment, and special education techniques by a team of interdisciplinary teachers, whom we approached by paying visits, who are employed in other noted institutions. The staff is updated on every event to subject such as law, accessibility, Social Awareness, Group plans, workshops
We have train our students in daily living skills, who are unable to do their daily chores, like eating, dressing, grooming, and also toileting etc. The main purpose of this training programme is to infuse confidence in them, to make them feel that, they are quite efficient and can attend to their daily needs with more confidence than ever as the ordinary children of their age group and move in the society with some satisfaction facing challenges.
Many famous established & well known Institutes, Trusts, organizations, persons visited our Institute. All of them have donated to this Foundation. Our Institute is thankful for the great & strong cooperation & donation from all the known & unknown well wishers, because of which the Institute is running progressively, reducing the sky – height in the subject matter.
